For the few who have read My Blog,the reason for not Posting anything lately was,I did an Interview on WEAR TV.The Title was "The Faces of Meth".The Story was in Two Parts,The First Part was Shown on Feb.22,06 at 10:00PM,and the 23rd at the same time.Before I did anything,I told the Reporter that put the Show together,I did not want My face on Film,nor My real name.The Name I used,was My Street Name,"RED".When I was asked Why,I told Him that I Promised My Dad that My Real Name,and My Face would not be used.Out of Respect to the Family,I am the Only Person in my family that was Actually given the Title of "BLACK SHEEP".Anyway,the Story was Very Good.When they Contacted Me about helping them with the Story,I asked if it was one of those Stories that only took 30seconds of Time,and then followed up by showing everybody how an Alligator,got a Porpoise Pregnant? Well, they thought my analysis was pretty damn Funny,and assured me,it was not going to be a flash in the Pan Story.When I told them that I Forgot More than some,so called "EXPERT" ever Knew about Meth.It took a little more than an Hour to tell them about Meth.The Reporter told me,that he had never known how devasting that Drug really was.When I was finished with the taping,I told him that I left out some of what I knew,Especially about how to help someone when they Over-Amped.Over-Amping means the same as Over Dosing.When you over-amp,the Heart Beats so fast it Seriously feels,and Sounds like a 90 pound Jack Hammer.I had MANY,MANY Over Amps.The best thing I found to do,was Running,I'm not talking about Jogging,I am talking about the type that you NEVER even Feel your Feet Touch the Ground.I used "HOLLYWOOD BLVD"as my Track Field.I really wished I had someone Timing Me,I knew that I Broke at Least One Record for Fast Running.It took about a Half of a Block to Stop.There is One other way to deal with an Over-Amp,but,I am not going to tell you about it,because If not used Properly,It could KILL You.I SHIT YOU NOT.

In the First Part of the TV Story,I Tell the Reporter,After the First High You Experience,You will Chase that First High,for the rest of your Life. RED

Since doing that Interview on TV,I thought maybe I should lay off all all the "DEATH" Stuff.My Dad said,some body might think you are "SENSATIONALIZING DEATH".He's Right,it does get to Graphic sometimes,I am Sorry. LATER RED

I thought I would explain My Absence,I have not,had any Fun Writing about some of the stuff I've Written.I have'nt Lied,about anything,It's all True,and that is Why I have'nt done anything lately.I will be writing something later this Evening.I am quite sure that anyone is holding their Breath,Waiting. Last night I wrote about the Death of 13year Old Moses in DC.Tonight I'm going to tell you about One of My Best Friends.Mike was a "USER"of Speed,mostly Methamphetamine,Mikes'Uncle,who was a Refrigerator-Freezer repair man,heard Me on the phone on how to Deal with a METH User,their Son.When I got off the phone,Jim came over to the Breakfast Table,and Sat down,a couple of Seconds later,He began telling Me about His Nephew Mike.Well,He wanted to know if I could Help Mike to get off Drugs.I told him to bring Mike over after work,so I could Talk to Him about Kicking Drugs,and Start a NEW LIFE.After Talking to Mike for an Hour,He Convinced Me that He Really Wanted to get away from Drugs.Since He did'nt have a place of his own,I told him he could take one of the Bedrooms upstairs,I had Five Bedrooms,there was Three Bedrooms to choose from.When He got everything in His Room,He came down to the Kitchen,He told Me right off that He was a Good Cook.Well,that got My Brain to working about a Job for Him.There was a Place over on Lombard ST.,They were looking for a person who could both,Cook and Bartend.I gave Jack the Owner a call about putting Mike to Work,He said,If Mike was Half as Good a Worker as Tom was,He could have the Job.(Tom was a parolee from Calif.).To make a long story short,when Mike got his First Paycheck,He did Exactly what I thought He'd do.He headed straight for the Candyman.After spending Half of his Paycheck on Speed,plus,not showing up at the House for Three Days.When He called Me,he thought I was going to Kick Him out of the House,I told him,I did the Same thing down in LA years ago,but,I did'nt have anyone that really cared about Me.Ten Years later,I thought Mike was going to be OK.Then,One day,He asked me,if he could Borrow $800.00.After I told him I did'nt have that kind of Money,I asked what he needed it for,He told Me he had Ripped a Dealer off for a "EIGHT BALL" of Coke,He said,He was going to drive around,and think about what to do.He left the House just before Lunch Time,When Jack called to see if Mike was going to be at work,I told Him,I was Worried He was going to be in DEEP SHIT,if He could'nt get the $800.At about 3:15pm a White Truck with a Multnomah County Sign on the Doors,when the Driver started up the Steps to the Front Door,I saw a Badge attached to his Belt,In Red Letters across the Middle of the Badge.It Said,"MEDICAL EXAMINER".When I opened the front door,I knew what He was about to tell me,Mike Drove up to "CORNELIUS PASS",He Stopped along the side of the Little used road,got out of his Pickup,climbed into the Back of the truck,and Proceeded to Blow His Brains Out.The Medical Examiner had His Body in the White Truck.Mike stayed Clean for 10yrs.What had happened to make Mike go back to using,Remains a Mystery. RED

I did the TV Interview yesterday,the Reporter said,It was One of the Best Interviews He has done,since he Started at Channel 3.

I Named this Posting "Failures"because it is about the Death of Two People I was attempting to Help them to quit using Drugs.The First was a Child,He was 13yrs Old,He was an African-American,His Name was Moses(NO LAST NAMES).His Drug was "HEROIN",He was Introduced to Me by Dr.Belcher.She said,I had a Way of Reaching into a Persons Psyche.I thought She was a Little Cracked in Her Judgement of Me,The Reason I felt that way was,Moses was Black,I am White,It was 1970,and,the Racial Imbalance in DC at that time,was not in My Favor.After awhile,Moses and,I were getting along just Fine,He would get out of School every other Day,and stop by the house,and then we would go for a walk,and He would tell Me about School,and Especially how Good He Felt about His Future.Then,I would tell Him about My Future,Without the "DRUGS".This went on for about 4 Months,I felt that Moses was Really going to make it,then,at about 3am in the morning I got a Phone Call from Dr.Belcher,She said,The Police Department had found Moses'Body in the Backseat of an abandoned Car.They told Her it was an Overdose of Heroin that Killed Him.When She and I finished on the Phone,I turned over in bed,and tried to go back to sleep,it did'nt happen,so I just layed there,wishing to Die.Thirteen Years Old.At His Funeral,Professor Diggs Introduced Me to His Family,His Mother reached out and Hugged me,and told Me that Moses liked Me,and enjoyed all the Time We Spent together.His Father,and His Big Brother Thanked Me for being in His Life.It Really HURT ME,as I looked at Him in His Coffin.I was never able to find out who gave Him the Lethal Dose that night. I think I will wait until tomorrow to Finish this Posting. LATER RED
